Jean Reagan and Lora Koehler are picture book writers living in Salt Lake City, at the base of the beautiful Wasatch Mountains. They came up with the idea of a picture book marathon and "ran" their first one in September 2008.

Jean's picture book, "Always My Brother," was published in April 2009 by Tilbury House. Her second book, "How to Babysit a Grandpa," will be published by Knopf in May 2011. 

Lora is a children's librarian whose published work includes the book “Internet” (Children's Press) and numerous news and magazine articles.
